Amora - Blackberry Port
Rusty red hued with crisp raspberry and blackberry flavors with accents of black tea. Lingering sweetness beckons one back for more.
This is a high fermentation wine similar to our Azule. Whole blackberries are chapitalized and fermented in order to boost the alcohol to 17- 18% ABU. After pressing and fermentation, aging is completed in American oak barrels. It is bottled with about 4% residual reducing sugar.
Serve at room temperature with dessert.
This impressive, complex, ageworthy can be drunk now or cellared for 15 years.
